Pilates Classes
Studio Sessions:
Studio sessions are taught and supervised by experienced instructors. In order to prescribe exercises to suit individual needs, all new clients enrolling in studio sessions begin with a one-hour initial consultation. Clients will be guided through subsequent sessions at the studio on an ongoing basis. All exercises will be chosen by our instructors to ensure safety and an appropriate progression. Studio sessions are one and a half hours long and are by appointment only to ensure a high level of personal attention.
Mat Classes:
A maximum of 10 participants per class ensure individual attention.
Mat Classes are an hour long.
The aims of Mat Classes:
- Develop the understanding of fundamental principals of Pilates
- Develop efficient ways of breathing
- Develop a strong and healthy spine through stabilising techniques
- Develop co-ordination
- Develop the understanding of appropriate stretching
- Develop strength and range of motions
Mat Classes are designed for those who are busy and they are suitable for people at all levels of fitness.
Mat Classes are conducted in a block of 10 classes.
Private One-on-one Sessions:
Private One-on-one Sessions are ideally suited for those:-
- Who have sustained injuries and have special needs for quicker recovery
- Who have special goals to achieve such as professional people, dancers, performers, sports people etc,. One-on-one sessions allow special attention which addresses these individual needs.
Sessions are by appointment only.
